Josh was such an amazing resource during my car buying experience! I called A-1 mobile mechanic's in the morning. Josh was able to meet the same day directly at the dealership to fully inspect the vehicle I was interested in. He arrived on time. From the moment we met on the lot I knew he had my best interest in mind. I could tell he truly cared that I was going to be safe and get a fair deal. We walked through the vehicle together, he stopped to explain the good and the bad never making me feel one way or the other just pointing out facts. The test drive was fun and educational, he gave great advice about building a foundation with my new car. Finding a good local mechanic (I was coming from out of town) to start maintenance. He was so down to earth I was at ease from the very beginning. Being a woman I can’t say enough how important that was. I hope I can find a mechanic like Josh back home. What an incredible resource to have! If I ever need a mechanic in the Sacramento angain area I will not hesitate to contact Josh. 10 out of 10 for sure! Thanks again Josh!

Called A-1 short notice for a pre-purchase inspection. After test driving a vehicle that had been given the "thumbs up" by another mechanic, I noticed that it sounded a bit rough and really wasn't consistent with what I had been told for the first inspection. I called A-1 and he was able to fit me in that same day. He was much more thorough then the first and was able to point out a number of issues during his inspection, which actually ended with the check engine light coming on, by the time he was done! If you need someone who is professional, detail oriented, thorough and knows their stuff, i wouldn't hesitate to call them! Moving forward, A-1 will be doing all of my Pre-Purchase Inspections. He literally saved me thousands of dollars!

I call this dude Him: “Hello?” Me: “Hi! …. Who am I speaking with?” Him: “This is Josh, who is this??? Who are you looking for???” Me: “Is this a business? I’m looking for A1.” Him: “OH YEAH!” Me: *click Professionalism has devolved into oblivion. It is SO UNCOMFORTABLE having to think about giving your address and payment information when they don’t even understand how to communicate in a professional way. Try this: “Hi, this is A1 Mobile Mechanics. How can I help you?” Is that seriously not a thing anymore?

My car started acting weird. It would not go over a certain speed and seemed to want to die if I gave it gas. This is my first time calling a mobile mechanic and prayed that I would get someone who would be fair and reasonable. Well when I called I spoke to Josh. I have to say I’m gad I did. When he came to Folsom to look at my car he found the issue right away and gave me options. Not only was he very knowledgeable and friendly he brought his dog Rose who was also a joy. I hung out with her while he worked on my car. I just want to say I highly recommend him! You will not be disappointed. Thank you for everything Josh and Rose.

I had battery trouble the day I moved to Sacramento. Josh was able to come by the morning after I called and tighten some loose connections to my new car battery at a minimal price. He also went out of his way to go grab me some motor oil because my oil tank was empty. I'll definitely call him again with any car trouble I have. A++ great service!
